"A1+" TV COMPANY SUES THE DECISION OF THE NATIONAL COMMISSION ON TELEVISION AND RADIO ON LICENSING OF “CINEMAX”

On December 1 the founder of "A1+”, “Meltex” LLC, filed a suit to RA Commercial Court versus the National Commission on Television and Radio with the claim to annul the decision of the National Commission about granting to “Cinemax” LLC broadcast licensing on 63d UHF of Yerevan. "A1+" founder sues the results of voting on October 13, 2003 recognizing “Cinemax” winner of the competition for this frequency, in which “A1+” also participated. As previously reported, "A1+" holds that competitive bid of “Cinemax” (broadcasting “EuroNews” and “ArmNews” programs) contained false information (see details in YPC Weekly Newsletter, November 14-27, 2003).
