At November 10 session of the National Commission on Television and Radio a decision was reached on announcing broadcast licensing competitions for the 56th UHF of Yerevan (on which “Art 13” TV channel and the programs of “Avetis” TV are now aired), the 30th UHF of Artashat (Ararat region), occupied by “Anna Telelex”, the 27th UHF of Gavar (Gegharkunik region), used by “Kyavar” TV company, and the 12th VHF of Hrazdan (Kotayk region) where currently “Hrazdan” TV broadcasts.
The deadline for submitting the bids on these frequencies expires on December 13, 2003. The bids will be considered by the National Commission on December 24.
