On October 30 at the session of the National Commission on Television and Radio the broadcast licensing competitions, announced on September 25, were acknowledged annulled. As it has been reported, five vacant UHFs in a number of Armenian cities were introduced to the competitions – in Tashir, Spitak, Dilijan, Berd and Aparan (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, September 26 – October 2, 2003). The bids were to be considered by the National Commission on October 30, however, there appeared nothing to review: no applications were submitted for the regional frequencies.
