On May 24, National Commission on Television and Radio considered bids for the broadcast licensing competition on FM 106.5 MHz of Yerevan, announced on February 12 (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, February 6-12, 2004).
Two stations are bidding for air on FM 106.5: “Impulse” Radio currently on this frequency (partly rebroadcasting also “Mayak” Russian Radio) and “Ultra” Radio. The results of the competition will be summed up by the National Commission on June 21.
