On April 29, by the decision of the Council of Public TV and Radio Company,
the Executive Director of “Shirak” TV company (Gyumri, Shirak region) Avetik
Melik-Sargsian was dismissed from the position held. According to Article 33
of the RA Law “On Television and Radio”, the new head of the regional public
service broadcaster will be appointed by the CPTRC by competition.
