REPRESENTATIVES OF “GOLOS ARMENII” AWARDED AT INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

On December 22 in Moscow the ceremony of awarding the winners of the Second
International Journalistic Competition “Communication Technologies in the Post-Soviet
Space: From Idea to Introduction” was held. The competition was the initiative
of “Eurasia-Media” Expert-Analytical Center of Media Research, International
Confederation of Journalistic Unions, International Academy of Television and
Radio under UNESCO auspices and with the support of Alcatel company. In the
competition over one hundred print and TV and radio pieces, published/aired
since November 2004 till November 2005, participated. The winner in “Newspaper
Publication” category was the economic observer of “Golos Armenii” newspaper
Ashot Aramian, who was awarded a trip to Paris. Among the awardees in the same
nomination the correspondent of “Golos Armenii” Ara Meliksetian was named and
granted a diploma as well as a valuable gift.
