On August 18 the National Commission on Television and Radio announced the results of the broadcast licensing competitions in a number of Armenian regions advertised on March 22, 2005. As it has been reported, the applications submitted for the competitions, were considered by the National Commission on July 1 (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, July 1-7, 2005).
The winner of the competition for the package of UHFs in 17 cities of the country was the only bidder, “Armenia” TV company.
The holder of the package of 9 FMs was "ArRadioInterContinental” company, again being the only bidder for the frequencies.
