A program cycle “Press Club” and “Press Club+” will soon go on “Yerkir Media”
air. It is a follow-up to the TV project, implemented by Yerevan Press Club
on the Second Armenian TV Channel from October 2004 to July 2005.
Each last Tuesday of the month, “Press Club” will host representatives of Armenian
media and journalistic associations, discussing pressing social political issues
and their media coverage.
On other Tuesdays, “Yerkir Media” will broadcast “Press Club+” talk show. The
guests of the program host Aram Abrahamian, Editor of “Aravot” daily, will be
three independent experts and representatives of a political party each. These
TV discussions are aimed at introducing the public into the positions and approaches
of various political forces on the problems Armenia faces, which is especially
urgent on the eve of the coming parliamentary elections in 2007.
It is planned that the first “Press Club” show will go on “Yerkir Media” TV
on February 28 at 21.00.
