On February 8-9, in Yerevan a seminar “On Regulation and Practice of Freedom
of Information in Armenia” was held. It was organized by the Committee to Protect
Freedom of Expression, with the support of the Council of Europe. The participants
of the event were representatives of state structures, media, public, including
journalistic organizations of Armenia, international experts. The seminar presentations
were particularly on legal regulation of freedom of information, its practice
in Armenia, CoE standards, the experience of Bulgaria and Norway in this sphere.
