On January 30 at the session of National Commission on Television and Radio a decision was adopted to change the broadcasting frequency of “Avtoradio” station from FM 101.1 MHz of Yerevan to 89.8 MHz. As stated to YPC at the National Commission, the replacement was made due to technical reasons – caused by constant interference on air. The right to broadcast on FM 101.1 was granted to “Avtoradio” by the competition of September 17, 2005, the results of which were summed up by the National Commission on February 14, 2005 (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, February 11-17, 2005).
