On October 20 at Yerevan Marriot Armenia Hotel a round table “Freedom of Expression
before the Parliamentary Elections-2007” was organized by “Article 19” international
human rights organization. The representatives of media, NGOs, including journalistic
associations, OSCE Office in Yerevan, RA National Assembly Deputies, the RA
Human Rights Defender discussed the situation of Armenian press before the upcoming
election race, the media legislation of Armenia, media self-regulation issues.
