On September 19 after a seven-year interval the publication of “Hayk” daily
restarted. The founder of the daily is “’Hayk’ Editorial Staff” LLC. The Chief
Editor is Vasak Darbinian. The newspaper is published on 8 A3 pp., with a print
run of 1,500 copies.
“Hayk” was launched in November 1989, becoming the first alternative publication
in Soviet Armenia. Before 1999 it was the print organ of Armenian National Movement.
