WORKING GROUP ON ETHICAL NORMS DEVELOPMENT ESTABLISHED

On February 2 Yerevan Press Club hosted a meeting of media representatives
who support the YPC initiative to jointly develop the main norms of professional
ethics and to further follow then in their day-to-day work. As it has been reported,
the address of YPC to the media community of Armenia was published on January
9 and further supported by 21 media, 8 professional associations and 3 journalists
(see YPC Weekly Newsletter, January
26 – February 1, 2007
). During the meeting of February 2 a working group
was formed that has to develop the main principles of journalistic ethics for
media that supported the imitative.
