The murder of Hrant Dink, Chief Editor of “Agos” Armenian-Turkish newspaper,
committed on January 19 in Istanbul, raised a mass outcry all over the world
and in Armenia. Statements were made by Yerevan Press Club (mailed out to YPC
Newsletter subscribers on January 20), other journalistic associations, political
parties and politicians, public organizations, higher officials of the country.
