“ROUND TABLE“ IN VANADZOR

On June 22 in Vanadzor a round table “Armenian Media During Election Campaign”
was held by the Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression under a project “Advocacy
Through Empowering Journalistic Associations and Regional Media”, supported
by the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation-Armenia and the Government
of the Netherlands. The round table participants – representatives of media,
NGOs of Lori region – discussed the coverage of parliamentary elections-2007
by the national and regional, in particular, the Lori media. The same subject
was discussed also during a talk show aired live on June 22 by “Lori” TV company
of Vanadzor.
