The Draft Law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting”, developed by Stepanakert Press Club, was discussed by the leaders of Mountainous Karabagh media at the seminar organized by SPC on February 23.
The SPC President Gegham Baghdasarian emphasized the urgent necessity of developing effective media legislation, including prompt adoption of broadcasting law, for the democratization of the society, strengthening the principles of freedom of expression, the formation of the “fourth estate” in MK.
The Draft Law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting”, developed by Stepanakert Press Club, was based on the homonymous draft law of Yerevan Press Club. The Draft Law of SPC includes also some of the provisions of the recently enacted RA Law “On Television and Radio”.
