On March 20 another book of Yerevan Press Club titled “Media and Democracy” replenished “Journalist’s Library” specialized literature series, published by YPC.
“Media and Democracy” is the Armenian translation of the homonymous collection of articles by leading European experts, published by the Council of Europe and dedicated to the issues of freedom of speech in democracies. The approaches suggested by the book to such concepts as freedom of speech, rights and responsibilities of a journalist, regulation of media activities, development of new technologies are of special interest and significance to the countries in transition.
The book is published with the financial support of Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation-Armenia.
