On December 28 Arminco, the leading Internet provider in Armenia, issued a news release that is also an address to the clients, informing, in particular, about an attack on Armenian servers. Hackers targeted the misconfigured name servers.
According to the news release, Arminco has informed ArmenTel Company directly, and currently the client support team of Arminco awaits appropriate actions on behalf of TeleGlobe and Cable & Wireless. The provider apologizes to the clients for the inconveniences caused.
Meanwhile, it is the second hacker attack on Arminco during the past week. Last time the clients of the provider were unable to receive messages of news agencies for a day.
