Starting from October 20, the FM station Radio Hay 104.1 started to permanently broadcast on the Internet, thus becoming the first radio channel in Armenia to operate online. As it has been reported, the launch of Radio Hay on World Wide Web (pilot broadcast) took place in June 2001 (see details in YPC Weekly Newsletter, June 23-29, 2001).
Besides the programs for the lovers of Armenian music, the Internet broadcasts will include newscasts in the Armenian language on the current events in the world, including Armenia, Mountainous Karabagh, Diaspora, as well as entertaining and education programs.
