On March 18 the new publication of Yerevan Press Club titled “The Legal Regulation of Public and Private Broadcasting” was issued. The brochure includes the extracts (in the English and Russian languages) of the homonymous international conference, held in Yerevan in early October, 2001 (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, October 6-12, 2001). The book tells about the broadcasting sphere and its legal regulation in 12 countries of the world, ranging from South Africa to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as about the international standards and the practice of developed democracies.
The book is published with the support provided to Yerevan Press Club by the OSI East-East Program and Network Media Program.
