On November 15-22 journalists from Armenia and Azerbaijan (two from each country) made a study visit to the capital of Macedonia Scopje. The trip was organized under "Armenian-Azerbaijani/Azerbaijani-Armenian Information Center", implemented by Yerevan and Baku Press Clubs with the support of OSI Network Media Program. The host organization during the trip was the Macedonian Institute for Media, the center for education of journalists and other media professionals, established last year. During the meeting with Macedonian colleagues and the representatives of international organizations the journalists from Armenia and Azerbaijan discussed the ethnic conflict between Macedonians and Albanians, its political resolution as well as the role of media in the coverage of conflicts and peacemaking efforts.
