On December 11 10th Congress of the Journalists Union of Armenia was held. The leader of the organization Astghik Gevorgian reported on the work done during the past five years. During the discussions the issues of journalistic solidarity, the necessity to adhere to the norms of professional ethics, assistance to the regional media, etc. were raised. Elections of the Chairman and the Board of JUA were held, too. Astghik Gevorgian was re-elected to the position of the Chairwoman of the Journalists Union.
