On December 12 the Presidium of Writers Union of Armenia awarded the annual prizes for poetry, prose, dramaturgy, publicism and literary criticism. Among the winners of 2002 there are two our colleagues.
The award in "dramaturgy" nomination was awarded to the Chief Editor of "Grakan Tert" weekly Karineh Khodikian for "The Woman after the Rain" play.
The prize in the "publicism" nomination was received by the Deputy Chief Editor of "Hai Zinvor" newspaper, the YPC awardee in 1999 Grigor Janikian for the book "Sentenced to Death".
