On November 17-22 in Yerevan a media futsal tournament was held, with a slogan of “Football for Equal Opportunities”. The competition was organized by “Protection of the Interests of the Disabled” alliance of public organizations and “Arevatsaghik” (“Sunflower”) monthly newspaper with the assistance of the Football Federation of Armenia and financial support of the Danish International Development Agency. The futsal tournament was held within the Protection of Rights of the Disabled Month, held in Armenia on November 15 – December 15, 2007.
In the competition 7 teams, representing 11 media, took part. The winner was the team of “Mediamax” news agency. Silver medals were gained by “Yerkir Media” TV company’s team, the bronze went to that of “ArmNews” TV company.
