“YERKRAGUND” – NEW YPC PROGRAM

On April 26 the first show of “Yerkragund” (“Globe”) cycle went on the evening air of “Yerkir Media” TV company. “Yerkragund” will alternately deal with Armenian-Turkish relations (this part of the cycle is prepared under a joint Yerevan Press Club and Internews Network project, “Dialogue Building Between Armenia and Turkey”) and other international developments (this part is administered by YPC with support of Open Society Foundations-Armenia). “Yerkragund” will be broadcast on “Yerkir Media” every week, on Tuesdays at 19.15.

The guests of the first program host, YPC President Boris Navasardian, were Kiro Manoyan, Bureau member of ARF “Dashnaktsutiun”, Gevorg Ter-Gabrielian, Country Director of Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Nvard Manasian, professor of Yerevan Brusov State Linguistic University, and political scientist Mikael Zolian. The show participants debated the necessity of participation by RA President Serzh Sargsian at the Fourth UN Conference on Least Developed Countries in Istanbul, May 9-13.

The next “Yerkragund” show will be aired on “Yerkir Media” on May 3.
