On February 21 another program of “E-Club” weekly cycle went on the online broadcast of “A1+” TV company (www.a1plus.am). The “E-Club” is produced by Yerevan Press Club in cooperation with “A1+” TV under “Alternative Resources in Media” project, supported by USAID.
The program was devoted to viruses in the Internet and anti-virus softwares: possibilities of protecting from viruses and spams, hacker attacks, etc. The news bloc of “E-Club” told about the “Anonymous” hacker group, which threatened blocking the world web, about the charity auction among Armenian Facebook users for collecting money to help a young woman fighting with a serious illness. The ratings of online sources and headlines of last week were presented by Gegham Vardanian, Media.am Producer. The web sources’ top list was headed by the group blog boingboing.net, while the most popular topic was the protest actions to hinder cutting down of trees and construction at the Mashtots Avenue park of Yerevan.
The next “E-Club” will be aired on “A1+” on Tuesday, February 28 at 15.50 (rerun – on Thursday, March 1 at 18.20).
