On May 17 Stepan Poghosian, Advisor to the Chairman of the Council of Public Television and Radio Company, passed away at the age of 81. Stepan Poghosian had worked in the media field for many years: in 1970-1988 he was the Head of the State Committee on Television and Radio of Armenian Soviet Republic, in 1988-1990 he chaired the official news agency “ArmenPress” and in 1990 – Armenian State Publishing Committee, in 2001-2011 he was a member of the Council of Public Television and Radio Company.
