Armenia became the 40th member of the European Audiovisual Observatory (http://www.obs.coe.int/about/oea/org/index.html), as it was reported in the EUA press release on November 26, 2012. This public service body operates within the legal framework of the Council of Europe and is the centre that gathers and circulates information on the audiovisual industry in Europe.
