On October 24, the Organization of United Nations celebrated the 68th anniversary of its foundation. The UN in Armenia organized a series of events to celebrate the memorable day, including the Journalism Competition on Covering UN Armenia Activities. The awards ceremony for the winners of the competition was held to commemorate the UN day. The laureates were Martha Hakhnazarian, correspondent of “Golos Armenii” newspaper (in the category “Coverage of UN Armenia work in general”), and Lia Khojoyan, correspondent of Panorama.am and WomenNet.am (in the category “Coverage of UN work in the regions of Armenia”). A number of other journalists also received certificates and gifts.
