Since June 1 and during a month "Orran" daily will be issued once a week, after which, its publication may be stopped completely. The situation of an eminent edition of the country is explained by financial difficulties. It should be noted that since the start of its publication (May 2002) "Orran" was supported by a well-known Armenian politician Raffi Hovannisian, the founder of Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS). Currently the amounts of this support have reduced sharply. It is possible that in near future the publication of "Hayatsk Yerevanits" – a monthly magazine, issued since 1998 and founded by ACNIS – will be stopped, too.
