“CONTINUING WAR”: A FILM ON “DEADLY TOYS”

On December 14 the festive hall of the Patriarchate of Holy Echmiadzin hosted
the first night of a film “Continuing War”, created by “Shoghakat” TV company
with the financial assistance of Internews Armenia. The film tells about “Deadly
Toys” project of photojournalist German Avagian.

“Deadly Toys” – this is the lives of children, injured by mine explosions in
Armenia and Mountainous Karabagh, as told by a photocamera and written on paper.
German Avagian started to work on the project since 2000, later financial assistance
was continuingly provided to him by Swedish “Erne and Victor Hasselband” Fund.
German Avagian intends to publish the stories of children, who died or were
left injured, in a manual book on shock therapy of children.

On December 22 the film “Continuing War” will be shown on the evening air of
“Shoghakat”.
