On November 17 “Femida” NGO held a round table, in which representatives of
Armenian media and the police took part. The event was organized under “Role
of Press in Establishing Rule of Law in Republic of Armenia” project, implemented
by “Femida” with the financial assistance of European Commission. At the round
table the participants discussed the issue of overcoming the mutual lack of
trust between the journalists and law enforcement bodies that will allow to
provide more up-to-date and reliable information to the public about the criminal
situation in the country. “Femida” plans to hold such meetings regularly.
