On June 28 on the evening air of the Second Armenian TV Channel the program “Freedom of Information – the Way to True Democracy”, created on the basis of homonymous satellite conference, held on May 3-4 with the participation of media and NGO representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. As it has been reported, the TV bridges Yerevan-Baku were organized by Yerevan Press Club, “Yeni Nesil” Journalists Union of Azerbaijan and Georgian “Black Sea Press” Association under a regional project “Societies and Media of South Caucasus Countries: Search for Mutually Acceptable Solutions to Regional Problems”, implemented by the three organizations with the support of the South Caucasus Cooperation Program of Eurasia Foundation (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, April 29 – May 5, 2005). The TV version of the conference, aired by the Second Channel was prepared by Yerevan Press Club in cooperation with “A1+” TV company.
