AWARDEES OF THE COMPLETION OF THE JUA AND THE WORLD ARMENIAN CONGRESS

On February 13 in Yerevan the award ceremony of the competition “Armenia-Diaspora,
Diaspora-Diaspora: Together With the World – With Our Identity” was held by
the Journalists Union of Armenia and the World Armenian Congress.

The first prize was awarded to Juliet Kazhoyan, the author and the producer
of “Place of Birth” program cycle of the Public Television of Armenia. The second
prize went to Ara Gochunian, the Chief Editor of “Zhamanak” newspaper (Turkey).
The third prize was awarded to: “Noyev Kovcheg” newspaper (Russia); Khikar Geghamian,
the Chief Editor of “Kotayk” newspaper (Armenia); Haikaram Nahapetian, the observer
of “Haylur” newscast of the Public Television of Armenia; Artem Yerkanian, the
observer of “Shant” TV company of Yerevan.

A special posthumous award was conferred on Garnik Ananian, the Dean of Journalism
Department of Yerevan State University.
