On May 16 at the conference hall of the Writers Union of Armenia the presentation of the Russian-language almanac "Gnosis" took place. The main purpose of the edition is to assist the formation of spiritual and philosophical thought in Armenia. The issue presents a series of interviews with representatives of Armenian intellectuals and is exploring the subject of "Armenians" (the quest for the national idea, its self-expression). According to the Editor-in-Chief Ara Nedolian, the magazine is disseminated not only in Armenia but also in other CIS countries, such as Russia.
