Recently the Publishing House of Yerevan State University issued a book “Radio and Television Journalism”. The author of the translated guide for the presentation of TV and radio news (the original title is “Broadcast Journalism”) is David Keith Cohler from the USA. Under the conditions of acute lack of the Armenian-language specialized literature this guide, providing a detailed discussion of the basics of journalism, TV and radio news production, the news making experience of such major US companies as ABC, NBS, CBS, CNN, will become a useful tool for the students and young journalists.
The guide was published under the project supported by Eurasia Foundation with funds USAID. The Project Director is the Head of TV and Radio Journalism Chair at the YSU Mushegh Hovsepian. The Editor of the textbook is the Dean of the YSU Journalism Department Garnik Ananian. The book was translated by Gayaneh Avakimian, Shushan Doydoyan and Lusineh Ananian.
