The “Cooperation for Democracy” Union published the results of the first period (November, 2001 – January, 2002) of the Armenian newspaper monitoring on religious tolerance. According to the investigation, the publications on the religious subjects are characterized with a radically intolerant attitude towards the alternative religious communities and sects, acting in Armenia.
The monitoring is to last 10 months and is implemented under the project “Religious Tolerance in Armenia”, implemented by “Cooperation for Democracy” Union with the assistance of OSI Assistance Foundation-Armenia.
