Since September 9 the Journalists Union of Armenia has started the implementation of a three-week project, supported by the UNESCO. The project stipulates a training course for the leaders of regional media. During the first week 10 representatives of the print media from different regions of the country will attend lectures on such urgent subjects as the legal and ethic regulation of media, media management and marketing, the proportion of foreign and local news in press, the layout and the design of newspapers, etc. The following two weeks will be devoted to internships at the major national media.
