On June 10, another talk show of “Press Club” cycle, dealing with journalistic ethics, went on “Yerkir Media” TV channel. The weekly TV cycle is produced by Yerevan Press Club with the support of Deutsche Welle Academy.
The talk show considered the professional standards of gathering and using information sources. The “Press Club” discussants, Melanya Barseghian, correspondent of “Aravot” daily, and Susanna Nersisian, Director of “ArmAuthor” NGO, expressed their views on this issue. The program experts were Olga Safarian, lawyer of Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression, Tatyana Hovhannisian, Director of “International Journalism” Scientific and Educational Center at Yerevan Brusov State Linguistic University, Gegham Manukian, Director of the News and Current Affairs Programs of “Yerkir Media” TV company, and media expert Mesrop Harutyunian. YPC President Boris Navasardian hosted the talk show.
The next “Press Club” will be aired on “Yerkir Media” on Monday, June 17 at 18.00 (rerun – on Saturday, June 22 at 12.00).
