On September 21, the Independence Day of Armenia, RA President Serzh Sargsian handed out awards and titles of honor to a number of public figures of the country, including media representatives.
Ruzan Minasian, correspondent of “Aravot” daily, was awarded with “Movses Khorenatsi” medal.
Freelance journalist Gurgen Khazhakian was conferred with the title of “Journalist Emeritus”.
