“RESPUBLIKA ARMENIA” HAS A NEW EDITOR

On September 24 at the general meeting of the authorized representatives of the founder of “Respublika Armenia” newspaper, "Hayastani Hanrapetutiun-Respublika Armenia” CJSC, it was decided to appoint Yelena Kurdian to the position of the Chief Editor of “Respublika Armenia” newspaper. The former head of the newspaper Vardan Aloyan has recently assumed the position of the director of the new CS Publishing House (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, September 3-9, 2004).

Yelena Kurdian is a graduate of Journalism Department of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov (major – international journalism), worked for “Aravot”, “Respublika Armenia” newspapers, the press-service of the RA Government, PR and Media Department of the Administration of the RA President. Recently Yelena Kurdian held the position of PR officer in the USAID Capital Market Development Project in Armenia.
