On September 4 in Yerevan the opening ceremony of Media City was held. The
Media City is a complex built by “Cafesjian Foundation”, American Armenian benevolent
organization, and is to host several TV and radio companies, a producing center
and the CS Publishing House. The Publishing House will be headed by Vardan Aloyan,
the Chief Editor of “Respublika Armenia” newspaper, who resigned this position
to assume the new job. According to Vardan Aloyan, CS Publishing House plans
to launch several publications, the first of which, “TV-mol” (“TV-maniac”) magazine
in Armenian language, will be first issued on September 16.
