PRESS CHRONICLE

Since July 19 “Yerkir-Media” TV company started full-time broadcasting. The new channel had appeared on the Armenian air on May 28, having won the broadcast licensing competition for 56th UHF of Yerevan (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, May 28 – June 3, 2004).

Starting from the same July 19 on 103 FM (taken by “Van” radio station) the rebroadcasting of programs of the Russian State Radio Company “Golos Rossii” started. “Golos Rossii” is aired every day from 8.00 to 10.00 and from 20.00 to 22.00. The newscasts of the radio company are also aired during the 15 minutes of every hour (from 11.45 till 19.00).
