On December 8 in Yerevan a discussion on “RA Legislation on Television and
Radio and the Practice of Regulation” was organized by the Partnership for Open
Society initiative (uniting several dozens of NGOs). The event participants
were introduced to the results of the study, administered by Internews Armenia
public organization and based on the findings of monitoring of 22 Armenian TV
channels. The monitoring aimed at determining the extent of adherence by Armenian
TV companies to the broadcasting legislation in force.
