On February 7 on the evening air of the Second Armenian TV Channel the eleventh
“Press Club” show was issued. The cycle is organized by Yerevan Press Club under
a homonymous project, supported by the OSI Network Media Program.
The discussion subject of the heads of leading media and journalistic organizations
of Armenia was the Karabagh conflict resolution. As the program participants
expect, the coming week Armenian media will continue the coverage of the international
fact finding mission on the territories around Mountainous Karabagh, controlled
by Armenian forces. The focus of media attention, by the suppositions “Press
Club” participants, will be at the session of the RA National Assembly, the
first this year, the debate of the different political forces over the amendments
to the RA Constitution, the death of the Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania,
the relations between the USA and Iran.
