Since August 1 the Armenian Branch of "Mir" Interstate TV and Radio Company was headed by Meruzhan Sargsian, who came to replace Karl Yalanuzian. The latter had held this position for 12 years. Previously Meruzhan Sargsian was the Director of "Kentron" private TV company. As it has been reported, he was appointed to this position in February 2005, replacing Petros Ghazarian, the host of "Urvagits" program (see YPC Weekly Newsletter, February 25 – March 3, 2005). Currently, the management of “Kentron” is again assumed by Petros Ghazarian.
