On April 5 and 6 the final pre-election programs of “Press Club+” cycle went
on the evening air of “Yerkir-Media” TV company. As it has been reported, since
March 26 the talk show has been presenting the stances of the leaders of parties/blocs,
nominated in elections for the RA National Assembly. Apart from the guests of
the “Press Club+” host Aram Abrahamian, who chose the discussion subject themselves,
experts and audience in the studio take part in the debate, too (see YPC Weekly
Newsletter, March 23-29, 2007
and March 30 – April 5, 2007).
On April 5 the talk-show guest was the leader of “National Unity” party Artashes
Geghamian and the representative of the International Center of Human Development
Ashot Khurshudian and the head of the Center of Sustainable Human Development
Karineh Danielian acted as experts. On April 6 “Press Club+” gave floor to the
leader of “Republic” party Aram Z. Sargsian and to experts – the representative
of the Civil Society and Regional Development Institute Shushan Khatlamajian
and the observer of “Golos Armenii” newspaper Ruben Margarian.
The “Press Club+” cycle was produced under a project of Media Diversity Institute,
