On December 19 the last “Press Club” show in 2007 went on the evening air of
“Yerkir Media” TV company. The guest of the program host, the President of Yerevan
Press Club Boris Navasardian, was the leader of National Democratic Union Vazgen
Manukian. The subject for discussion was the upcoming presidential elections,
in particular, the stance of Vazgen Manukian as a RA presidency candidate, nominated
by the Union. The “Press Club” cycle is produced under a project of Media Diversity
Institute, supported by Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation-Armenia.
Since December 22, on Saturdays, at 17.20 on “Yerkir Media” the supplement
to “Press Club” will be launched. The TV show cycle, dealing with the media
coverage of election campaign, will bring together journalists and public. The
supplement to “Press Club” is produced under the project of Media Diversity
Institute with the financial assistance of the US Department of State Public
Affairs Section.
