On July 10 the presentation of “Monitoring the Armenian Media Coverage of Parliamentary
Elections 2007” book was held. The publication was prepared by Yerevan Press
Club under the projects implemented by YPC and ”TEAM” Research Center with the
support of Open Society Institute Network Media Program and the OSI Assistance
Foundation-Armenia. The book (in Armenian, English and Russian) presents the
findings of monitoring the Armenian media coverage of parliamentary elections
2007, administered in two stages. At the first stage (from February 1 till March
31, ahead of pre-election promotion) 7 TV channels of Armenia were monitored;
at the second stage (from April 8 till May 10, the pre-election promotion period)
the study focused on 18 broadcast and print media of the country.
