“PRESS-CLUB+“ PRESENTS STANCES OF ELECTION CAMPAIGN PARTICIPANTS

From March 26 on “Yerkir-Media” “Press Club+” TV program cycle resumed. Ahead
of the official promotional campaign for elections to the RA National Assembly
the talk show will be presenting the stances of leaders of the parties/blocs
running for seats at the parliament on the issues of public importance. The
guest of “Press Club+” host, the Chief Editor of “Aravot” daily Aram Abrahamian,
chooses the subject of discussion, and the two experts comment on what the guest
said. Audience in the studio takes part in the talk, too.

Before April 6 “Press Club+” will be aired by “Yerkir-Media” daily (except
Sunday, April 1) at 21.00.

On March 26 the guest of the talk show was the leader of the National Democratic
Party Shavarsh Kocharian, and the President of Armenian Sociological Association
Gevorg Poghosian and the head of the Center of Social Studies “Progress” Marat
Atovmian were making expert commentary. On March 27 the “Press Club+” gave floor
to the Board Chairman of Armenian National Movement Ararat Zurabian and experts,
the representative of the International Center for Human Development Ashot Khurshudian,
the observer of “Golos Armenii” newspaper Ruben Margarian. The discussion participants
on March 28 were one of the leaders of “Impeachment” bloc, the Chief Editor
of “Haikakan Zhamanak” daily Nikol Pashinian and experts – the President of
Yerevan Press Club Boris Navasardian and the head of the Institute of Civil
Society and Regional Development Aghavni Karakhanian.

“Press Club+” is broadcast also on 10 regional stations, joined into ”Hamaspyur“
TV network.

The “Press Club+” cycle is produced under a project of Media Diversity Institute,
with the support of the United Nations Development Program, Open Society Institute
Assistance Foundation-Armenia and the British Council.
